Wow! I can hardly believe that January is almost over! It seems like we just got here, and February is right around the corner. Did you make new year's resolutions? I didn't, but I think my thoughts and plans for the year probably qualify as such. Most of us plan on getting healthier so we join a gym, change careers, get married or maybe even divorced. These are the main areas of life we tend to think about with the new year. After all, "New Year" means new beginnings, opportunities, hope, and a new you. Of course, "The Leftovers" are still here with us too.

Let's chat!

"The Leftovers"

Most of us, if not all - have some unfinished business leftover from last year. We need to finish what we started or re-evaluate. An easy way is to determine if it's going to make our lives better and bring us peace. If it's a life changing decision, then definitely make sure of those two things. Seek guidance if you need it, and don't feel ashamed. Getting a different perspective from the outside helps us when we face life altering choices. Make sure it's someone trustworthy and knows how to handle life with discretion. Write things down, and work your plan. Or, if you have to wait and think about it more, then do that as well. Let's finish what we started or wanted to start by taking that leap forward in 2025. It's the new year, so let's go for it!

Explore New Opportunities!

Ok, it's time to stop thinking and put some action to it! I've definitely been one to procrastinate on new ideas or opportunities. Not anymore! I'm ready to face life head on with positivity and hope! Let's surround ourselves with people that are like minded and not be afraid to take some risks. Unfortunately, it may mean not sharing the dream or plans with those around us like friends and family until it's done. We know they only want the best for us and it's sort of their way of protecting, and at other times it may not. Either way, use wisdom and ask God what you should do. He will always gently lead us in the right direction or bring the right person across our path. Be vigilant! So, go back to school and get that degree, start that business, make the career change, build new relationships, and work on the old ones if you can. Be a better you too! Make the best of everything, and keep a grateful heart. The best is yet to come!

See you soon,

Jae ❤️
